Erikc Perez-Perez is a Mexican-American photographer and director — Charlotte-raised, Notre Dame-educated, now Chicago based. He’s the founder and CEO of Misfits Labs, a Chicago picture company committed to the mission of exploring and enriching the human condition through visual art. His body of work spans portraiture, commercial, and narrative, all rooted in the pursuit of finding moments of divinity in a physical form, and conveying them through still and moving pictures. Prior to founding Misfits Labs, he was the co-founder and CMO of Resonado, a venture-backed technology company developing proprietary sonic hardware for consumer applications and for the U.S. Department of Defense. While there, he was named to Chicago’s 25 under 25. He's currently shooting commercial work in Chicago, producing his first art film, and writing his first short.
